First Hurst is truly a church of and for the generations. It’s not about the clothes you wear or the car you drive. It’s about warm relationships in a casual atmosphere where folks from all generations come together to exalt Christ through worship, to seek Him through prayer, and to grow in His Word through Biblical teaching.
First Hurst is one church that meets on two campuses with four worship gatherings, including one in Spanish.
Learn more about each campus:
What should I expect on Sunday?
When you visit First Hurst, you’ll find a friendly, authentic community of people who are genuinely excited to see you!
And because intimate, participatory worship as the church gathers is a high priority, you’ll find a casual but engaging experience, headlined by practical, uplifting messages, and great music.
And because growing in faith is also a high priority, Bible Studies for all ages are provided on each campus.
What should I wear?
We are casual around here. You will see jeans, shorts, dresses, and casual business attire. So, wear clothing that is comfortable for you and join us, because First Hurst is not about what you look like or what you wear.
Will there be childcare?
Yes, but we prefer not to call it childcare, because we believe it is possible to share the love of Christ with children from the day of their birth. In every lesson we teach, biblical foundational truths are taught with the hope that they take a firm hold in their hearts and are carried with them the rest of their lives.
Checkin begins 10 minutes before each worship service. First-time guests will need to fill out a registration card. You’ll then receive a numbered security sticker which serves as your child’s name tag. You’ll also receive a matching numbered security tag which is required to pick up your child later.
