Please email email@example.com for more info.
Men's Bible Study, Tuesdays, 6am
Attention, men of First Hurst: If you are looking for a place to grow in God's Word, to be equipped to defend your faith, and to fellowship with other brothers in Christ, come be part of our Men's Bible Study. We meet every Tuesday morning at 6am at the Trails campus in M103. This is a verse-by-verse study of the Bible led by Chris Means, John Burt, and David Custead. This season, we will be studying the books of I and II Thessalonians, and will explore Paul's writings on practical Christian living, as well as eschatological subjects such as the rapture/2nd coming of Christ, and the Antichrist. Bring your own coffee. Donuts will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
Construction at The Trails
We’re excited to inform you that the remodeling of the old Newell office building on The Trails campus has begun. This space will primarily be used for Student Ministry and will include a large teaching space and 3 small classrooms. We anticipate this project finishing up by the end of May and thus will complete this first phase of construction of The Trails campus. Until the project is finished, please do not enter this building, as it's an active construction site. All other areas of The Trails will continue to be open.
Tarrant Area Food Bank Mobile Sites
We host two Tarrant Area Food Bank mobile sites each month. The first Tuesday of each month we are at Vivagene Copeland Park-Bellaire (weather permitting). The third Thursday of each month we are at The Trails campus. Fold-up garden wagons are needed for our food distribution at Vivagene Copeland Park. If you have one to donate please let Kimberly know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
New Library Hours
The new Library hours are now from 9-11am on Sunday mornings during this time of COVID. Jana Burnett has lovingly spent many years building a complete library for our church members. We hope anyone who has not been in will come by and visit. You will find some wonderful books on Christian Living, Fiction, Marriage & Family, Missions, Non-Fiction, Theology, Resources, and others. We also have a complete section of books for children. Additional items are DVDs and books for sale for .50 cents each. Jana will return to the library next January. Let’s support all her hard work!
COVID Reentry Protocol Update
Beginning this Sunday, April 11, instead of masks being required, they'll be encouraged. We encourage you to wear a mask when you enter the building and when moving to and from worship, classrooms, restrooms, etc. Your mask can be removed at your seat in the Worship Center or in a classroom. For those who are not yet ready to sit around unmasked folks, we’re expanding our reserved seating sections where masks will still be required. In addition, we’ll continue to encourage grace, hand sanitizing, and personal space. Thank you for your ongoing cooperation with these changes, as we're taking steps toward a sense of normalcy.
