To qualify for GA Queen status, the GA must:

  • Prepare a Personal Statement of Faith

However, for GAs who have missed one or more years, a leader may assign alternate activities that demonstrate completion of each teaching goal. See the Section entitled "World Venture" for a complete description of these grade-level goals.

Above and Beyond

The Above and Beyond program will give our 4 th through 6 th grade Girls in Action members the opportunity to earn Girls in Action patches in recognition of their service "Above and Beyond" the regular program activities. This is to encourage the girls to seek ways to use their spiritual gifts, time and talents to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to their community and to the world.

The activities will be completed outside of the regular GA meetings. The girls will choose from the patches available that year. They will get the detailed requirements from the Above and Beyond Leader. When they have completed the requirements and an adult (parent, GA leader, Life Connection teacher) has signed in acknowledgement, they will be awarded the appropriate patch.

Patches will be attached to the Girls in Action tote bag below the GA logo, Camp Patch and the World Hunger Patch.

The GA Camp Patch and the Walk for World Hunger Patch will not be part of the program. They will continue to be awarded for the first year's attendance at the program they represent.
