We truly believe that our life in Christ is a group project, so it’s vitally important for us to be connected with others in our church family. Belonging to a group of believers who are mutually committed to caring for one another, growing in their faith, and impacting others for Jesus Christ is what biblical community and GroupLife is all about. Check out the following group descriptions:
Ongoing medium-sized groups designed to encourage you, through personal relationships, to know, worship, and obey God according to His Word. These groups meet each Sunday morning at 8:20, 9:30 & 11:00 at our Norwood campus and at 9:00 at our River Trails campus. With a wide range of age, life-stage groups and varied teaching styles, there's a group for you.
Small groups designed to foster deeper disciple-making through biblical community and the study and application of God’s Word. DNA stands for Discover / Nurture / Act. Each time a group meets they seek to discover the truths of God's Word, nurture the relationships in their group, and are challenged to act on what they discover. DNA groups meet at different times throughout the week and year, with a special emphasis on Wednesday evenings in the fall and spring (6:30-8:00pm w/ Kid's Dig & meal for $5/per person at 5:30pm by reservation only at firsthurst.com/midweekmeal.)
EQUIP / Support GROUPS
These content-driven groups feature a variety of short-term (6-13 weeks) and long-term Bible study groups designed to equip you for life and ministry. These are groups like Financial Peace University, re:generation, Embrace Grace, study groups and fitness groups. Equip groups typically meet on Monday evenings through the fall and spring (6:30-8:00pm w/childcare), although some meet at other times throughout the week.
Please help us connect you with the group that best fits your interests. Someone from the GroupLife team will contact you soon.
